The description "fully insulated" is a bit misleading - the insulation is extremely thin and it will not keep your legs warm if you have to deal with real cold. These pants might be insulated enough for the West, but they're a bit thin for the Ice Coast. And the long zippers running up each leg are not terrifically helpful. So they're not awesome superpants. That said, they're not bad, either. These pants will keep your bum dry, your motion free, and your profile slim. They fit like real pants, not the mini-tents that the kids wear these days, so you might not even need a belt to keep them up. If these pants were the same fabric as my Special Blend Annex pants and didn't have the zippers up the side, they would be five stars easily.
