I skied this ski all last year. It is definitely not a ski for the faint of heart. I was a little cautious at first not knowing what to expect. It didn't turn all that well a low speed so i was nervous cranking up the speed, but as i skied faster the true liveliness of this ski started to shine through. At one point I said "screw it" and threw caution to the wind and let them rip... The result was a ton of fun!! This ski is definitely made to go fast. Once up to speed they will tear through anything... deep pow, crud, ice, on piste, off piste... you name it, they will preform. The full metal wrap edges are also a great feature, adding strength to the ski and leaving nothing for rocks to grab and rip out the edge. They are on the heavy side so I don't think I would recomend them for backcountry unless your accessing it from the ski area... loads of metal in these thingys. Over all a great ski, just a little heavy.
