After wearing my husbands around the house, I finally bought my own. They are very warm and soft and work great as a baselayer or look good to just wear around (no you don't have to be too embarrassed to run errands after a day skiing). They are pretty true to size and I didn't think they were quite as boot-cut as the picture makes it look like. The waistband is a bit odd which may make these fit funny on some builds - i'm pretty square with no hips and they are a little baggy in the hip area but otherwise fit great.

Very cute shirt but it does run small, especially through the shoulders. I have a small frame and normally wear a size medium. I bought a large and am glad I did, as the large is pretty snug through the shoulders.

I love the versatility of this jacket and like the high visibility aspect of it. The optik is a must have for any cyclists wardrobe. The packability is great and while it's not water proof, it does help deflect light rain. This is my second Optik jacket. I'm glad to see that Pearl Izumi fixed the zipper and did away with the "reverse zipper" which was a major pain; no problems with the new model. The older version without the stretch panels actually seemed to fit a little better. The 2008 version fits my looser in the shoulders so I'm seem to get more of the "parachute effect" over both shoulders on fast descents. Otherwise, a great jacket!
