I spent 10 days paddling and camping in Aialik Bay, Alaska, with this jacket. We had 10 days of rain. One record rainfall of 1 3/4 inches of rain one day, with that being beat the next with 2 1/2 inches of rain! I stayed dry, both in the kayak and in camp. The adjustable hood was especially nice to have, so I could still see the glaciers, black bear, eagles, whales, dolphins, jelly fish and seals. The longer hemline was nice to keep my back-side and tops of my legs dry, as well.
