I received my exchange, from size 6 to size 10. The 10 fit me. If you read my other review, I have the Arc' Palisades shorts in size 6 and they fit. So I took both shorts and compared them, the Gamut sz 10 is the same measurement as the Palisades' sz 6, except one is longer than the other. Talk about inconsistent sizing. I do like the chamois inside the waistband. It is very figure flattering. The description is incorrect. There is no gusseted crotch. Size up 2 sizes, ladies.

I have 2 pairs of Arc'teryx Palisades shorts in size 6, so I ordered these Gamuts in 6. I could barely pull these shorts to my hip. The description says it is cut loose enough for movement. Not these shorts. The tag says size 6 & waist measurement is 30" (sizing chart says size 6 is 27" waist, it feels like a 2 or very small 4). Other than that the style is cute. I like the 2 diagonal zippers. I will update when I exchange for another size.

I ordered this for my daughter. Size 18 is a little tight around the hip for me. I am size 6 and 5'4". The length is slightly long for me but doable. The description here and the Spyder's website did not mention the waist is adjustable. I saw a review of the same item but for Plus size. This person said it's adjustable on the inside. I chatted with Customer Service and they don't have that information either. Anyway, the waistband has elastic inside with multiple slits that you can adjust and button through the slits(similar to kids' elastic jeans). It is comfortable, not too tight and not too lose either. A great purchase at this site.
