Tephra 22 a great tent   05-22-06

I camp when riding my motorcycle, and this tent was great for that. I recently used the Tephra 22 without the fly on a hot night in Austin and had to set up in the dark which was easy. The tent provides plenty of room for one person and gear (wouldn't want two people in there). Airflow through the tent was just right while providing some privacy near my head and shoulders.

Tehpra 22 *Update*   09-12-06

Took the Tephra 22 on a 3,000 mile ride through TX, CO, WY, MT and ID. Once again the tent was great. Used the fly each time and had no moisture on the inside of the tent. Vestibule was just the right size. Easy to set up. Inside is good height for changing clothes in. Highly recommend this tent. Wish the poles folded smaller though.

Big Agnes Cross Mountain Sleeping Bag: 40 Degree Polarguard Delta    This product is no longer available

Big Agnes - Nice Bag   09-12-06

I took this bag on a long motorcycle trip through the Rockies this summer and it was awesome. The whole concept of slipping the pad into the bag is brilliant. I liked everything about it. It was easy to set up and pack. I don't like mummy bags per se, but this is like an oversized one so I can move around a bit. Add the Big Agnes pad, and you won't even feel the ground when you sleep! I wish the zipper went further down the side, but I slept so well I didn't notice.
