I was looking for a board that could handle any and every type of snow condition and I found it. The Phoenix is forgiving in the tip and tail, yet will power through ice and chop at any speed. Surprisingly this board was super light for being a 160. I am a huge believer in all Mervin products. Had a chance to demo some of the Burton pro models, and this board puts them to shame. You are probably getting more tech and quality than any other board out on the market in the same price range. Love the board, you should get one if you get a chance. PS the graphics on Jamie's boards are always sick.
