Columbia Tigertooth's

The Men's Tigertooth by Columbia has met up to all of my expectations. I loved the old Sawtooth model, and was disappointed to see them discontinued. I thought I would give the new Tigertooth a try and after 13 miles in Indiana's Turkey Run and Shades State Parks, and a few dozen more in Land Between the Lakes, I haven’t had any complaints. They have a sturdy, aggressive tread, good support for the back of the heel, and lots of stability front and back. I feel more stable in these than I did in the North Face Fury's, and the narrower design feels less clumsy and lighter than the Merrill Ventilator. From the moment I put them on, they were as comfortable and felt as broke-in as my old Sawtooth's. The suede leather is high quality and the thick mesh offers ample ventilation. I've found the Tigertooth to be great for light day hikes, occasional trail running, and all around casual wear. After doing a lot searching in local stores and online, this site proved to have the best price and color I wanted. Shipping was fast and on time. |
