I purchased these boots last winter and have worn them through two winters with below zero temps so far. The boots fail to keep my toes warm even when wearing merino wool socks. The temp ratings state that they will keep you warm in below zero temps but I think that's a stretch. I find my feet are cold even in above zero temps. I fear I paid for merely the name of the boot and not for the performance. I have since replaced them with a pair of Baffin boots (highly recommended by me) and I have been nothing but pleased. If what you want is a pair of stylish boots with the North Face logo to wear back and forth to work or school then buy these. If you need something to protect your feet in harsh winter temps during winter activities then my advice is to shop around. To me function outweighs style in terms of importance. Good luck. |
