Ok,I bought these and they broke, but aFTER TRYING a couple other pairs of boots to no avail (my feet are really picky), I calmed down and re-bought these to give them another go. Well, I am glad I did because they are extremely comfy (even w/o having the liners baked) and the amount of support is juuuust right. The lacing is actually pretty burly too. I found out that the only reason my 1st pair snapped was because the idiot who did my liners ripped it... buy these!!!!

I just shelled out 2 kidneys and a liver to buy these 2 weeks ago. I was trying them on at home so I could loosen em' up a bit before the season starts and the 2nd time I put them on I noticed that the laces were all frayed and thinned out!!! So, now the locking mechanism will not hold the shredded laces and the boots are totally freakin' useless!!!!!! I am calling on Monday and returning these pieces of crap and buying another pair of reliable DC Judges... P.S. - I'll also save a bunch of money.

Just bought these on the 14th of August and they are useless after the 1st time I tried them on at home!!! I put them on and as I tightened them, the speed-lacing system "shredded-up" and is now too-thin to "catch" in Burton's cheap plastic locking mechanism. So, Long story short - A nearly $500 pair of boots was rendered useless after only 1 attempt to try them on at home via a shoddy lacing system that has to be seen to be believed at just how cheap and cheesy it is! I avoided Burton products for 15 years of boarding, and now I have been reminded why!
