This is an awesome boot for an intermediate to experienced skier; the right balance between the stiffness of a competitive boot and the flex a rec skier needs. The heat-moldable boot liners go a long way toward a custom fit, but the boots are still tough to break in -- even though I wore the boots before hitting the mountain, it took three days on the slopes before I could say they weren't painful.
