I was at Squaw Valley earlier this year and got caught in downpour, my old pants were drenched and I don't think I would have been any wetter had I jumped in a pool. The rest of my body was dry and warm thanks to the Burton AK jacket I had on, this pretty much sold me on getting a pair of the pants. The next day was warm and I was thankful for number of side vents. Everything about the pants is tight; they fit awesome (with adjustable waistline), ghetto slits to rock it in the park, vents, awesome style and most of all will keep you high and dry in the elements. For those hot days you'll be pumped to have all the venting, it felt as if I had just strapped on a pair of shorts. I can't say enough about these pants, get yourself a pair. You'll be stoked.
