I'm amazed at how well the GPS function works. It detects satellites inside my home which is better than my old Garmin Vista. It's consistently within 0.05 percent of my bike computer so I trust the accuracy. I'm not sure about the problem the reviewer Skelty had, but I've interfaced the unit with three other computers without any problems and can download my progress. I can see how I've improved over the same route, or see how my progress is slowed by a head wind. It also works well for day hikes to show your path and record speed and miles. The only issue for hikes is that the battery life is limited to one day.
