The Scarpa Matrix AT Boots have far exceeded my expectations. Most comfortable ski boots I have ever worn. Great balance of room in the toe box without any heel slippage. Great touring comfort yet MUCH stiffer than the 3 buckle LOWA Struktura AT boots I used to ski in. Ski/Walk mode toggle is easy to work with bulky gloves on. Buckle design is great—you can clamp down for downhill and then simply release clasp to go to touring mode without having to lose your buckle position—when it is time to ski again you just clamp down. No fussing to get the buckle position correct because it’s still in the same position it was in the last time you buckled down. Great overall design. Thermo liners are awesome!
