My daughter, a Grand Valley State University junior, needed a really warm jacket to walk from her quarters to class. GVSU, near Grand Rapids, MI, always gets a lot of cold and snow brought by the lake effect from Lake Michigan which is only about 30 miles away. She wanted this brand. I did not want to pay an arm and a leg, so her first choice a jacket over $250 was out of the question. She picked this one, though it did not look very cute, which is real important to a 20 year old. Were we pleased and surprised to find when we received the jacket that it was very, very cute and stylish. It looked as if the picture online had been put on steroids. Really great compared to the picture. Oh, and it is very warm, just what she needs for the Grand Valley Michigan winters.
