Early indications suggest that the Baron ES is all I hoped it would be. She holds the edge wonderfully and has plenty of flex and pop. The slightly wider construction is practically invisible yet there’s nothing close to heel or toe drag from by 11.5 Vans (which are big boots). The board performed well on the groomers and was great fun in the powder (although a flat sheet of bamboo would be great fun in powder!). I’ve started to mess around with stance positions (started with the standard width) to get the most from this stick. I’m looking forward to getting another date later this month and some more fine tuning. Buy with confidence and ride her hard.
