I ordered the jacket for my daughter. I think it will serve its purpose as a rain jacket for her at college, but I must say that I don't understand the need for it to cost so much. I shop a lot, so it's not that I am unaware of the cost of items these days, but it doesn't even have a lining or anything special besides the brand-name that I can see would cause it to cost so much. I have seen other brands for far less. However, my daughter is in college and wanted the North Face brand. I plan to keep the jacket because she is happy with it (but she doesn't know how much it cost). But I would not purchase another one, or recommend it to others now that I've seen the quality of it.
