Great Skis
02-14-07 ![]() |
I've demo'd the k-2 luv lines as well as the Vokl AC3 and found that they were very heavy and also chattered at high speed. I am extremely please with the Rossignol Attraxion V. It's lighter (1lb lighter due to their f.i.t.); great in deep powder, due to the wider waist; no chatter at high speed; easy on turns. These are all around great skis. |

Great gloves
03-05-07 ![]() |
I wore these gloves during slightly stormy conditions in Mammoth and loved the fact that it kept me warm and dry. I've tested several other gloves and found that those didn't keep me dry during stormy "wet snow" conditions nor keep my hands warm enough. The extra liner gloves that Sequoia Dankine comes with are perfect for wearing apres ski and for walking around town. They were really warm and wind resistant. I had them on whiling helping to put tire cables on and my fingers didn't get cold. Don't expect to wear them under your gloves though. It won't really fit & makes the gloves too bulky. Also Dakine gloves seem to run really big. I normally wear a small but had to return them for xtr sm & those were still slightly large. Overall, except for the size running a little large, these gloves are great! |

Warm but not dry

These gloves work as far as keeping your hands warm during warm spring skiing, however they do not keep your hands dry. When I took my skis off to carry them, the snow on my skis seeped through my gloves and got my hands wet. |
