This is a nice, warm jacket. It’s very light, and wonderfully blocks the wind. It is not, however, made to protect you from extremely cold weather: it only goes down to the waist, the hood is not insulated, and the jacket is actually built to serve as a mid-layer, with little clips by the cuffs. It's perfect under a waterproof outer layer when the temperature drops below the 20s, but might not be sufficient if worn by itself. All in all, the jacket is terrific, especially if you live in a city, and are aware of its limits. A word on this site: great service, super fast delivery - thanks!
