fantastic

I just received these boots in the mail a few days ago and have already received so many compliments on them. I live in a very snowy ski town and have worn them around outside with no problem. My feet stayed totally dry and insulated even in the deeper snow. They're cuter than you can tell in They don't look clunky at all; I wore them to a party with some jeans and a sweater and it looked great. The fluffy lining is all over the inside of the boot- so cozy. Overall, I can highly recommend these. |

I just mounted these up on my Volkl Kikus and I'm thrilled with them so far. They look and feel super-solid, and I feel completely secure in them at high speeds. As a lady skier, I definitely didn't need the burlier Dukes-- I'm not exactly a 200 pound dude who hucks 60-footers for breakfast. But I love getting out in the backcountry and it seems that these will fit my needs perfectly. |

thriller

I've taken these babies everywhere this season and haven't been displeased yet. I've been surprised at how fast they rip even on the crud and groomers. And in a long open pow slope, well, just sit back and enjoy the ride. I have to beg to differ with Cece's review- I've had no trouble keeping up with the boys on the Kikus, and the crud only throws me around in user-error situations. |

Wearing it Every Day
01-26-09 ![]() |
I have to say, I'm in love. Singing it from the rooftops. Hiring an airplane to write it in the sky. Writing odes and songs. All to the TNF Bellflower Bomber Jacket. I'm a cold girl and I've felt fugly wearing my utilitarian puffy jacket around downtown and to work, but I always wore it because my cuter tweed and even wool coats just didn't have any insulation. This jacket's thick insulation does the trick perfectly without making you look thick- and the fabric does resist water so if you walk around on a snowy evening you'll be fine. It has a great rich texture, and the buttons are sweet. I've gotten tons of compliments on this jacket- it makes me feel like I'm a girl or something. One sizing issue- if you have a long torso, be aware that this coat has a shorter, cropped length, so it won't go all the way down to your hips. Taller folks will find that it hits more at the waist. Which is fine... it looks cute that way. |

Excellent boot
12-05-08 ![]() |
I'm thrilled with this boot. I've only taken it out a few times so far this season, but I'll tell you, the comfort is unparalleled by any other high-performance boot I've tried. The stiffness is great for an assertive female skier. It looks lovely too. One thing I really appreciate is the roomier toe box. At first I thought I got a size too big, but after I skied on them several times, it seemed that the performance was spot-on, and yet I could still wiggle my toes up and down. I've suffered frostbite on my toes in the past when ski boots restricted their circulation too much. I really appreciate this fit. I'm carving fast turns and feeling totally in control. Can't wait to take them into more technical terrain. |

great but size up
02-05-09 ![]() |
I ordered this top and love the overall look- pretty coloring, and the design is way more feminine than most performance tops. Which is awesome. But I am slender with a longer torso and arms, and this was way too short in length. I couldn't get my thumbs through the thumb loops because the loops are too far away from my thumbs. So this is a great shirt if you're shorter than 5'7". I'll need to send it back, sadly, because even though this is a great deal, it just doesn't fit well enough for me to wear it around. |

the bestest of all

This is the best messenger bag ever. I use it as a gym bag, commuting bag, overnight bag... whatever. It's bomber. I carried my stuff in it all summer on my motorcycle and it never got in the way. My roommate liked it so much she got the exact same one to take on a month-long trip as a carry-on/day bag. Super resilient, with just enough pockets and a comfortable fit. |

Great pant, but it wouldn't stay on...
09-15-08 ![]() |
...and not in a slutty way. The top button closure seemed faulty because it's just a snap, and snaps aren't super strong. So every time I moved or sat down/stood up, the snap would come undone. Not okay if you're out on the ski hill. I could have just sewn an extra button on to back up the snap, but that seemed like too much hassle and I just returned them. All the pant's features are spot-on though, and they're really warm. Great waterproofing and a cute cut. |

would like one in every color... maybe two in every color

I bought this shirt because it was a good deal and I am in love with wool products, but now I'm specifically in love with this shirt. It's been a zero-to-sixty thing; now we're inseperable. Its light weight makes it slightly sheer and crepey, which actually looks really pretty when you're just wearing it casually with a tank and jeans. But I've also been hiking and skiing in this shirt, and the wool really holds up to its reputation. It resists b.o. buildup and lets perspiration evaporate before it builds up on your skin. Sweeeeeet. Go Smartwool. |

smokin' but small

These pants are awesome, but everyone be aware- Billabong's pant sizes are tiny. I usually wear a 2 or 3 in other brands, and I couldn't even pull the size 3 Wylie Jean on. Get it, but size up. |

Good for any occasion

I love this shirt and can pretty much wear it to anything. Wore it to a backyard wedding this summer and keep it in the dateworthy shirt quiver. I think it fits just great. You just have to get the right size and it'll hug your curves. However, it's true that the fabric isn't as soft as one might suppose by looking at the fabric- it kind of just feels like regular ribbed cotton. That being said, it's still a pretty rad shirt, and worth the money. Be aware that the jasmine color looks way more yellow in real life than it does in the picture. It's still a great color, just different from this. |

awesome but size way up
11-06-08 ![]() |
I love this jean, now that I have the right size. I have worn Element jeans before, and was fine in a size 3. But I ordered a size 3 of this jean and I couldn't possibly button it. It was impossibly small. So I returned it for a 5, and after a TON of wrenching and good solid effort I got 'em buttoned. After a couple days of stretching, they fit just perfectly. But it was a bit of a battle to get there. I get tons of compliments on them now though. They go wonderfully with boots or flats. Hooray. |
