a down vest that actually fits well

Though the marshmallow look of down can never be completely avoided, this vest is as close to marshmallow-free as you can get. Don't get me wrong - it's puffy, but it won't make you look like a line backer, as did several other vests that I tried. Unlike other Mountain Hardware products that seem to be purposely cropped, the length of the small is perfect (I'm 5'5"). Plus, this the only vest that I could find that comes in gray, which goes with everything. Not surprisingly, it's very warm. A great product. |
