Excellent

Among other hikes, I just wore these on a November climb to 14,000ft mountain in Colorado. I took off my thin poly bottoms because it was too warm during ascent in temps near freezing. I postholed through snow (in gaiters) up to my hips at times, sat on rough rock and snow, and winds up to 50 or so blew spindrift. With wind chill it was probably down to 0F or less. My legs were never cold or clammy wet while I was moving. Any soaking of water or melted snow seems to evaporate quickly. The fabric has held up well to this punishing alpinism, showing little if any abrasion. Highly recommended for a 3.5 season pant. |
