Typhoon Jacket

While it’s not ski season yet, it has been a wet year so far. The typhoon has stood against any rain thrown at it, along with hail and mud. It is incredibly waterproof, and has great features like a snow skirt and zip in, which I use my ATV jacket for. The double stitched construction is very strong, and the hood is removable, and when attached is fully taped, and is waterproof. I can’t wait to get some snowboarding on this jacket, and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed by its many other features. |

ATV Jacket

I bought the ATV jacket about 2-3 months ago, and have been loving it ever since. While not as waterproof as the Sharp Point Jacket, which I also owned and gave to a friend, it balances the best of both worlds. It is not only waterproof, but very breathable and quick drying. The jacket is also very tough. I have worn it while hanging drywall, running electrical and framing. It has held up against snags, abrasions and various other rigors of work. Overall I wouldn’t trade this jacket for anything, the only thing I don’t care too much for is the look. While the flat color looks good, a small amount of pattern would be nice. I would rate this jacket very high despite the plain looks, and would pit it against ArcTeryx and North Faces softshells any day. |
