The Recon pack is just at home carrying a laptop as it is carrying around two 100oz water bladders. I purchased this pack because I travel with a laptop through airports and I hike. The laptop sleeve holds my wide-screen laptop without any problem. I also like how the Recon has a port for my water bladder tube and the sleeve is big enough to hold two 100 oz (3L) bladders side-by-side. Also, the arm straps are well padded and the sternum strap is helpful to prevent the arm straps from drifting to the edges of your shoulders. Overall, it’s a great pack and a good size to be functional.
