When I started carrying my Gerber Legend 6 years ago, I was working construction and carrying a heavy tool belt. With the help of my Gerber Legend, I took almost half of the tools out of it. Now that I've started hiking, I wouldn't go anywhere without it. It may weigh a little more than some other multi-tools out there. But it more than makes up for it in usefulness and durability. I mean, I've had mine for 6 years and the blade is as sharp as the day I got it
