This being the first set of trekking poles that I have used I don't have a very good frame of reference, but these poles have done everything I've wanted them to. Over the course of a long day hike, the simple shock absorption feels very nice. The poles are easily adjustable and I have no problems with slippage after I set the height. Best of all is the price, it's very reasonable.

I had a chance to really put these socks to the test on a 34 mile day hike a few weeks ago. These socks were wonderful. My feet were not even sore at the end of the day, and not even a blister to speak of. I will be wearing these socks on any hike that I don't wear boots from now on.
