Great

This is the best ultralight backpack ever! It came to either this pack or the granite gear vapor trail. My 2 friends have the vapor trail and I like this pack way better. I hiked over 10 miles a day, for 4 days straight through rough mountain terrain and my load was carried very well. My pack weighed about 25-30 lbs. The waste belt has mesh zipper pockets so I store power bars or granola bars since the bars flex with the pockets around my waste. The big mesh outer pockets are great for storing extra gear that you’re too lazy to put in your pack. I keep my rain jacket and map there for easy access. Also, if I have any wet gear the mesh pockets allow it to dry while I'm hiking. The 2 water bottle pockets are deep and held my 1-liter Nalgene bottles very well. The harness and straps that stabilize the pack are the only kind I’ve seen like it. When you bend and twist your torso the harness at the bottom moves to adjust the load better and gives you more flexibility. Also, this pack barely weights anything compared to other packs. |

This is the nicest bag I've ever owned. I ordered the long version and I have plenty of room without it being super huge. I'm 6'3 210lb. I used to have a bag that was too small that compressed the down feathers making me cold. Not with this bag. The only thing I wish it had is a zippered foot box so my feet don't get sweaty during warmer weather. I took this to Longs Peak in lower 30's and I slept perfectly. |

Table salt?

I wonder if I can use regular rock salt. I don't use the strips because I always treat the same amount of water and am too lazy to check every time I purify. I never got sick. |

I'm 6'3 and I just fit in this tent. I have a long Marmot sleeping bag that I kind of have to bunch up a little near my feet to keep from pushing against the tent wall. The reason I chose this tent is because of the weight, and it beats a bivy. Also it's not single walled tent so there is barely any condensation and ventilation is great. My regular prolite Thermarest fits in it, a large Therma could problem to fit in it, but I try to keep my weight down. There are clips that attach to the poles around the door but the long center pole has to be threaded through loops on the tent body. I wish there were clips for the long pole so I could use the fast fly setup during rain then just clip the tent body inside the rain fly. Instead you have to put the tent up first then put the rain fly on second which gets the inside of the tent wet. Vestibule fits my Gregory G-Pack but probably wouldn't fit a larger pack. This is the best and lightest single person three-season double-walled tent I've found and I tried out a bunch. I hope to see in next year’s model a few inches longer and clips on all the pole-to-tent connections, not loops. |

| Snow Peak GigaPower Stove, Titanium Manual Ignition This product is no longer available |
small

Great stove, just a little few things that could be better. First of all the whole thing isn't made of titanium. Just looks like the supports are titanium. Also I'm worried about the burner screen where the flame comes out, I used to own a Pocket Rocket and it boiled over leaving burned food on the burner, with the Pocket Rocket the burner holes where the flames come out are big enough to stick a pin in and clean out. The Snow Peak stove has a screen making it almost impossible to clean if something got burned on there. Comes in a little plastic case that fits well which I like. |

This is my first kayak and I'm very happy with it. I bought the 12' and there is plenty of room for me. I'm 6'3 210lbs. If you like to do lightweight backpacking, there is plenty of space to go out for a 4 day weekend. If you’re looking for speed I would go with a day touring kayak. |

Everything is nice about this except the hood isn't long enough to go all the way to my forehead. The hood is double-layered which makes it warm, I just wish it was longer. |

ok

It’s good for the price because I didn't want to spend 100 bucks for a rain jacket. I used this for a week in the Rockies. Best for off and on thunderstorms. The jacket isn't as long as I would like, but it kept my upper dry. I liked the zipper arms to add ventilation when working up a sweat. The zipper got jammed but was easily fixed. I'll just have to be more careful when zipping. Packs a little smaller then a 2L Nalgene. I don't think this would stand up to scraping on rocks or bushwhacking because of its thin material. |

Good

Great solo cook set except for two tiny things. The lid handle doesn't stay in the up position. I've seen some pots with a notch in the bracket making the lid handle stay vertical. Maybe I'll cut one in it. Pot fits 2 small Snow Peak gas canisters or 1 gas canister and the Gigapower Stove without the stove case. Guess I'll have to leave the stove case at home. |
