I ordered a pair of Keen Newport Sandals in Leather and was so pleased I bought a pair of fabric ones too. I can't say enough positive things about the overall comfort and the practicality and safety of the Keen toe enclosure. The fabric ones are particularly good in water as compared to the leather ones. The fabric is also significantly lighter. The leather is a bit more comfortable in the footbed and dries quickly too. I live on salt water. I just hose them off after getting them wet. I'm giving my open-toe sport/water sandals to Good Will.
