While slower, and heavier than other kayaks, the flipside is that it is more stable and less claustrophobic. Great for fishing or toolin around at the cabin.

Finally, a purifier bottle that you don’t have to squeeze like the Hulk to use. So simple to use you have no excuse to not stay hydrated. You can also change the order of the filter element so the charcoal is after the iodine section, eliminating that wonderful iodine flavor.

The invention of the Airalite hull material was truly revolutionary. Rather than having to choose between the light and stiff yet incredibly pricy and fragile fiberglass, or the incredibly durable but heavier than my mom rotomolded plastic, Airalite is lightweight, yet durable and scratch resistant. This boat is the ultimate touring rig for those who don’t have three grand to spend on a kayak. It tracks incredibly well, and yet is still highly maneuverable.

Marmot just keeps improving their tents. This is an excellent choice for those who savor weight savings, but still value durability. Sure it only has one door, but it’s on the end of the tent so big deal! Plenty of mesh gives excellent ventilation.

Even though i own a sleddog whose paws are made for winter, I still use these to prevent dry, cracked pads. They would be good also for long treks across sharp rocks. It does take a short while for the dog to get used to them.

These are great for preventing "oilcanning" your boat by strapping it directly to the crossbars which puts an depression in the hull. Easy to load, a must for anyone with a kayak and a car.

This paddle yearns to be held. Beautiful construction and amazingly lightweight. As durable as nearly anything on the market, it’s a must-have for boat enthusiasts that want to investment in a paddle that will last a lifetime.

I used this pack on a climb of Mt. Rainier, when my climbing partners were carrying packs twice its size. I easily fit everything I needed, and was happy and comfortable while they buckled under their immense loads. The large zipper on the top of the lid make grabbing snacks a snap, while the see-through panel on the bottom of the lid allows you to pick out your headlamp among the rats-nest of other gear. The molded foam hip-belt is the most comfortable and supportive I have ever used, and the durable nylon bottom allows you to set the pack down in the snow without the gear on the bottom getting wet.

These bindings are defintely made for hucking and skiing with your heels down. A much looser feel than other bindings, if that is what you are into. Not really the lightest for touring.

This is a great beginner boat, and at an awesome price. Paddles nicely, is relatively light, and extremely durable. With good care it will last many, many years.

Of all the two person tents I have owned over the years, this tent offers the most space with the least amount of weight. The knee-shaped poles create vertical walls in the tent, giving a spacious feel, and keeping the tent material away from your face when you sleep. The windows in the fly help are great for stargazing and checking the weather. The matching pole sizes make setting up the hypno a no-brainer in the dark, while tired, or completely sauced. While listed as a two-person, it can fit me, my girlfriend and my dog.

If you live by a river, lake, pond, or stream and own a boat this is a necessity. Allows anyone to paddle solo without dragging your boat across the ground. Really, a no brainer!

These liners allow you to greatly extend the life of your boots. I never baked mine, just skied a bunch and they fit perfectly. After 150 days they pack out minimally. Don’t let another punk ski shop employee talk you into a new pair of boots, when these liners will easily do the trick.

These things are very nice, and about the only thing you will need to replace on your rack. Mine either fell off or were stolen, and these beat using a kayak tie down strap. really a no-brainer.

To the previously posted review: Tighten the cap! I have had good luck with these. You can hang your MSR drom bag from a tree, and the cap makes a nice stream for hand washing.

A really nice feature that allows you to get multiple uses out of your dromedary bag, and is easy to clean.

This is a great way to prevent your sunglasses from getting crushed in the top of your pack. Not quite a hard case, so some precaution is advised. Fits the majority of sunglasses on the market.

This is great for getting sand and dirt out of the cockpit and hatches, which will make your boat last way longer. Definately one of those small items that makes a difference.

These are great for organizing your gear bins at home, or in your car. Don't spend anymore time rummaging through a 25 gallon plastic bin for a pocket knife. Organize.

The best way to prevent your bike from bieng stolen, and an easy way to upgrade an older yakima product. Adds a nice sense of security.

Although newer designs are getting fancier, this rack has treated me well for years. Great for keeping clearance height to a minimum on taller vehicles as well.

My feet stink, thats a fact. I have tried every brand, and i can't get these to smell no matter how hard i try! Great socks, alapaca rocks.

This is definately a necessity if you own an MSR filter, yet also a very obvious sign. All these small, intricate parts are bound to break. I like the Katadyn designs as they are much simpler with less parts.
