Outstanding design; great rigidity throughout the entire paddle. The swing weight and balance is terrific. There is almost no blade flutter (you do need to pay attention to your entry/exit; this isn't a cheap paddle that you should slug along with). You'll appreciate its weight, efficient blade design for the reduction of stress on your joints. I’ve used it in winds, moderate swells to flat water (never been in the surf zone) and I’m very satisfied. The shaft interlock is tight and the finish is velvety smooth. Everyone I've loaned my paddle to has raved.
