I don't run. I have a hard time just walking after several foot surgeries. I have very high arches and the right foot is thrown inward from internal ankle damage. It's impossible to find a narrow shoe that provides stability, cushioning, room for extra arch support, light weight and can be worn with regular clothing. This is the best outdoor shoe I've experienced in a long time. I don't get blisters, there's room for my long toes. It fits VERY well with lots of comfort. I am able to hike again with my 2-year-old on my back. Yippee!! They have enough cushioning for hard city streets too. I don't count on wearing them longer than 8-10 months and that's about normal for me. I love them so much, I'm getting another pair!
