The Keens performed very well combined with a pair of performance socks while hiking out of the Grand Canyon. The only compliant is that when walking in sand, the sand will quickly infiltrate the sandal and pack up under your feet. This is typical with most sandals, however, due to the tight fit and closed web design of the Keens you can not shake the sand out and it quickly becomes very uncomfortable and annoying. |
