I have had several touring boots - these ones aren't light, but they give the best control that I've tried so far, and are fine for long tours. I skied down a 35 degree slope recently with one boot accidentally in "walk" mode and I didn't even notice because the natural stiffness and forward lean give such good control compared with lighter models. Very impressed.
