Most down jackets make you look like the Michelin Man. I got this one because it's flattering. Though it is marketed as a lightweight jacket for the backcountry, there are better (lighter) options for backpacking, such as the ultralight Montbell down jackets and the Mountain Hardwear one. However, this North Face one looks much better than the others, for just wearing around town.

Got this 'cause I saw it on sale. I find I never wear it. It's too big for its size; it gets stinky easily; it's bulky and not lightweight, so you can't just bunch it up into a fanny pack; it is neither very rain resistant nor very breathable. The only thing I really like are that it does have pockets.

These are some of the most flattering pants I've ever had. The low rise fits my curvy hips well. They have stretch material, so they are not tight anywhere. Convenient pockets everywhere. It's true that the legs are a tad long, but I just roll them up a bit.

Normally I can't wear cords because they're not stretchy enough for my narrow waist and wide hips. These North Face ones however are great! Very flattering and I get compliments in them all the time. Stretchy.

This is one of the sexiest tops of any kind that I've tried. I wear it on dates! Very flattering. It runs very long, which can be good if you wear really low-rise pants.

This is my favorite Smartwool style. Unlike most of the merino wool shirts, which are athletic looking, this one really does look great around town, with a skirt. It is thicker, and more generously sized than most other "lightweight" Smartwools.

I love this shirt above and beyond all of my other Smartwool shirts. I can work out in this one, and then it's dressy enough to go out on the town right afterwards.
