This bag is perfect. Previously, I had a DAKINE messenger bag which relied too much on velcro to provide support. Consequently, it did not perform well over a certain weight and was really a nightmare after the velcro started to age. This bag is the best I've come across. Size is perfect. Big enough to hold my laptop computer (although I don't think it was designed for that, it certainly holds up perfectly), books, notebooks etc for my classes. The support provided by the strap is a hundred times more effective than the DAKINE bag. There are also small zipper compartments that can discreetly hold any and all items/goods that are essential to college students. If you can get this bag for under 30 bucks, like I did, go for it. I haven't seen a better bag around.
