66 North makes some incredible products and this one is no exception. It's super warm and the raccoon fur is a nice touch, literally. (I watched a raccoon devour my neighbor’s cat so I have no remorse wearing real raccoon fur.) So far, I haven't been at all cold but the Chicago weather has yet to dip much below freezing. That said, I was hiking in Iceland a few months ago and this brand is the crème-de-la-crème of the outdoor wear. In Iceland, the locals demand much out of their clothing so I'm confident this jacket can handle just about anything the lower 48 states can throw at it. Sizing runs fairly large, I'm normally a Medium but had to swap for a Small. Feel privileged to be able to buy this brand for the price. In Iceland, you'd be lucky to find a 66 North sweatshirt for under $200.
