They’re sturdy and dependable, though a little heavier than its competitors (i.e. Patagonia Large Black Hole Bag). Definitely my main staple for trips and expeditions. |

I tested them last June and July in the Karakoram. They have unbelievable grip on bare ice when I used them for basecamp strolling, even better than backpacking shoes. |
