This is my third pair of GCS gloves and was purchased as a backup to the 15-year-old pair that's starting to wear. I "test drove" them on a -4F day at a popular Colorado resort and they were almost too warm. The extra liner allowed for a mid-day exchange to something dry. The only complaint is with the hook-and-loop attachment for the liners as they are sometimes difficult to align. I prefer the old zippered attachment.
