Well, I originally bought these because I liked the color and style of the shoe. Imagine how thrilled I was when I realized that not only were they supportive, while doing leg presses at Gold's gym(where even the women's room has a urinal), but my insert fit in comfortably, as well. Now, these shoes are for trails, so I took them for a walking spin in the Santa Monica mountains. I was used to wearing running shoes on hikes and my foot used to wobble side-to-side and slide forward--not in these puppies! It was the first time my feet and ankles felt secure. They are also my favorite pair of walking shoes. Planning a trip to Disneyland? You'll want these of your feet! Even though I do not have a wide foot, I bought the men’s shoe--they were more comfortable than the women’s.

I was drawn in by the silky soft cashmere material. It is so cozy, though don't count on it to keep the wind at bay. In fact, I liked it so much I just ordered another jacket in the same fabric but a different color.
