I loved my Nuptse jacket when I received it a month and a half ago. While the color was not exactly what I thought it would be, I really liked the jacket. It kept me warm in below zero temperatures. I wore it all of the time. Sadly, my jacket did not hold up to the washing instructions. A delicate cycle wash absolutely destroyed my jacket. The fabric was ripped and torn in several places. I am very upset as I really liked the jacket and am dismayed that the cleaning instructions were so wrong. Word to those of you who have purchased it, hand wash only!!!

After a move and in the midst of planning a wedding I discovered I had lost one of my lumberjack boots that I had loved for over 15 years. I decided that this was a sign I ought to get new boots. I chose the Danner boot for it's basic, sturdy construction and vibram sole. My husband and I honeymooned in northern Minnesota and I brought my new boots with me. We took 6 good hikes through varied terrain from park path, river rock and small boulder terrain. My Danners served me very well. I only needed a thick sock for extra insulation and cushion. My feet stayed dry and happy the entire time. Even though I had not broken them in prior to the trip I did not suffer any blisters. They were excellent little boots!
