The Sierra Designs Hurricane parka is a great jacket, made even better by its great price. It has similar waterproofness to more expensive jackets like Marmot or North Face, but at a fraction of the price. This jacket is very compressible and light to wear. Also, I thought the sizing of the Sierra Designs jacket was better than others I have tried. The size large was a great fit compared to Marmot (large too big, medium too small). I highly recommend this jacket for a waterproof, light solution.
