Brunton My-Ti Titanium Flatware    This product is no longer available

Very nice, but not the absolute lightest.   12-18-04

Very nice kit. I bought this set along with the Snow Peak set (item # SNO0021) for a comparison. Hopefully I'm allowed to give you some info. on both here. The Snow Peak set is the lightest of the two. Even with the Snow Peak's sheath included in the weight, it weighs within a couple of grams of the Brunton set without a carry case. This Brunton set though, while built a bit heavier, has nicely shaped handles. They taper as they go up and feel more substantial in your hand, with a tad better grip, more like flatware you'd use at home. Also, if it matters to anybody, the eating surfaces on the Brunton are polished to a bright shine like stainless where the Snow Peak set is dull all the way down. Both sets are obviously light and strong (duh, titanium) and I like both. I'd recommend either set, but if you want the lightest of the two, then you gotta go for the Snow Peak. The difference isn't much...the most I measured between the sets themselves (no carry pouch or ring holding them together) was about 10 grams. So, you're not going to break your back either way, but if you're obsessed with packing ULTRA LIGHT, then go with the Snow Peak. If you like a little sturdier feel, then you might like the Brunton set better. Hope this helps anybody that might be trying to decide. Oh, this was my first order from this site too...great site and my order got here FAST.
