The North Face Logo Beanie is a good hat for cold weather climates. It has a nice fleece lining to keep your ears warm while not causing your head to over heat. The only problem I have with the hat is how tight the hat fits. It is a one size fits all hat, yet I wear a 7 1/4 hat size and it's tight on my head. I would not recommend this hat to anyone with a 7 1/2 or larger hat size. Other then that, the hat has a classic design so as not to stand out when worn with a nice overcoat or a simple shell. If North Face were to make it in multiple sizes then I could recommend this hat to just about anyone.

I had the older North Face wind stopper mittens and now have their gloves. They are a great piece of gear and should be in your kit bag if you live in cold, windy conditions. The material on the palm of the gloves make great contact with your steering wheel or whatever piece of equipment you are operating. I would recommend this piece of gear to anyone looking for a warm glove that does not need wet weather protection. If you need that type of protection, then you can always add on the Gortex outter shells at a later time.
