I'm on my 5th pair of Malamutes. These are the best boots I have ever worn; stiff, responsive, stiff, comfortable, stiff (did I say stiff?). The liner doesn't pack much. There is a footbed that is almost as good as superfeet included in this boot. I get 60-75 days of use on these boots, which is typical for snowboard boots for me. Those are long, ski patrol days. I'm 215 lbs, and hard on gear. I hike on rocks in these boots. Through all that these boots are comfortable, reasonably dry, and ride predictably.
