These shorts feel great on the bike and off but they are a bit of a struggle to get into as the strap material is very stiff. They are also cut very high in the front and, again because of the lack of stretch in the material, impossible to pull down low enough to answer the call of nature in the usual way. Gets old having to take off all jackets and jerseys at every bio-break.

I was a little misled with these socks as I hoped they would be as light as other SmartWool ski socks. I have two other types that are very thin and what my boot fitter recommends. The ones I received are nice socks but have more than light padding around the foot area. If I loosen my boots, they work, but beware that there are thinner versions from he same company.
