Got caught in a 7" deluge in Laverkin Creek area, 8 miles from trail head. The Master Kompressor poles withstood several swollen stream crossings with me depending on them for support against the rushing water (thigh deep). Thank goodness, they never once collapsed. They were full of sand particles from the stream fordings but still easy to collapse at the trip's end. |
