The Hestra glove fit is excellent and their grip on a ski pole is the best I've ever felt. They may not be the warmest glove when the temps get into single digits but that is something I've not yet tested. Cold January mornings are not too far off. It's nice to have an under-the-sleeve glove again as so many of today's ski gloves are of the over-the-sleeve gauntlet style.

The X Metal frames have greatly improved over the past few years. My 4 yr. old Juliets do not match up to my new Romeos. Get a good fitting Oakley hardcase to help them survive any ruff 'n tumble. The old Juliets have not a scratch on them 'cause they were always hardcased when not in use. The Romeo fit is excellent and is adjustable. Want second looks..?.. Get some..!..

When I purchased the Spyder Vail Pant I was hoping to match it up to my 2 yr. old Spyder Legend SCC Jacket. The match is perfect - same outer stretch material and matching nickel colored highlights. The pants are warm and have that nice quality you find in the best European ski clothing. You get what you pay for...
