I've been hiking for years and I swore up and down that I didn't need hiking boots to go hiking; my trail running shoes were sufficient. I had a pair of heavy hikers (ASOLOs) for a month-long trip and was all but miserable from the blisters for most, so it was with great concern when I got these hiking shoes as a gift. However, I think I'm going to continue to hike in appropriate footwear. These fit comfortably, they give great support, and are decently waterproof (especially with the help of some Nikwax). They are still definitely light-hikers, and if you turn your ankle easily, or are continuously carrying a third of your body weight, you might need something a bit more involved. These work for day trips and short excursions where your pack is smaller and you don't need your ankle to be continuously static.

This pole is super reasonably priced without any bells or whistle or much of anything else. It’s a great pole for just having as an extra when something happens to your main set. They aren't the sturdiest, but they definitely get the job done really reasonably.

The fit is great; just right under the Giro Helmet, and perfect for my normal girl-sized face. They give you an extra rose colored lens to expand the use in different lighting conditions. Also, The Tiffany Gloss color is way cool—totally unique and a change from the boring goggles you usually see on the mountain.

This was the first sleeping pad I ever bought and it continues to be a key part of my gear closet. The Ridge Rest is super lightweight, is easy to pack (In the cavernous backpack I surround the inside with the ridge rest to have the pack keep shape), and has come in handy with an Achilles injury (just cut off a corner for a heel lift!) I have finally purchased an inflatable, but they work together to make a pad system, not one or the other. This pad is super affordable, even though it isn't quite as luxurious as an inflatable--it does the job for a third of the price.

Bought these shoes in my "normal size" of 8, and have been wearing them a ton. However, I kind of wish that I bought them a little bigger, my normal feet are just a tad too wide for the shoe. Bummer, but I still wear them anyway. The strappy look paired with the comfy soles make these ideal for dressing up or lounging about.

I love Smartwool. The socks are super durable, the wool doesn't smell—ever, and your feet are content in any tight ski boot you would have. The light style provides enough warmth without forcing the ski boots to be any larger, and they are just comfortable!

I really like these sandals. I have a few variations from other companies (Gravis, etc.) and these seem to be holding up better than some of their competitors. I don't find them slippery like the other review, but maybe I'm more used to walking around barefoot and I'm carrying a bit more grit around in general. They fit true to size, and I like that they are wide enough for my feet, but still look dainty.

These boots provide an excellent level of support for a great price. The have just the right amount of flex and are comfortable for a whole day of riding. I do find myself tightening them up more frequently than I would hope, but all in all a nice boot. I have been very pleased.

Alright, so this is way cute. I really didn't need another skirt, but couldn't ignore this--its different and casual, and since I'm over riding (blasphamy, i know) I got it. And I like it--a lot. However, it doesn't really look like the picture so much... I bought the "Brown Olive" one, and the "green" is not "olive", its more "leaf" and the "brown" is significantly more "gray" than anything else. Also, the picture looks like its knee length, and that might be true if you have no bum, or if you have REALLY short legs. I rock it about hip level so that it actually goes to about my knees. So, be warned. Its cute, just not exactly what I expected.

I needed a 'black belt' but my membership to J.Crew and the Gap only provided 'lame' and otherwise 'boring' belt options. When I saw this belt, I knew that I could fulfill my basic belt needs while simultaneously having the style that I've grown accustom to from this and other skate brands. The lettering is cute; it’s a little skinner than most of my other belts, but is up to the task. The gold buckle is fun and playful, but business-y in the right way. I will admit that the M/L is much more M than L, but works fine for a size 10.

I right there with the other reviewer who speaks of the 1/2 size too small issue. I have other Simple shoes (that have backs, and shoelaces, etc.) and those are true to size. However, I got these in that same size, and really wonder if I should exchange them because they are "perfect" but sometimes my heel hits the edge. As far as the rest of everything--these shoes are really cute, really comfortable and style-y. The color is really rich and makes these shoes classic enough to be wearable for work while the stitching on the front doesn't go around the whole shoe so it gives it a more unique look. In general, I'm quite pleased, but would be stoked if they were a little bigger.

I'm feeling rather restricted by my vocabulary to truly go into how unbelievably cool, rad, sexy, crazy, cute these snowboard pants are. Here’s what they have going for them: the belt actually keeps them on your waist and looks sweet, the leather adds just the right amount of steeze and style, the softie liner on the upper half of the inside keeps you warm and dry, the flap-pockets on the bum, well, show of your bum in the *right* way, and the herringbone print is ‘so hot right now.’ I would challenge anyone wearing any other pant to a walk-off when I’ve got these on! There is seriously no part of these pants that doesn't have a fashionable look and a functional capability.

In the dual between the two primary elements of design, I hoped for this mug to render a tie. I love coffee; I love backcountry.com. I would want my coffee mug to display for all to see the joy that both give me. Alas, that didn't happen, and I have to give it a three. The lid doesn't fit right and I spill every time I try to take a drink, so I end up not using the lid, which doesn't keep the coffee nearly as warm. If it worked right, I'd be stoked. *Disclaimer 1 - I know others with this mug, and they don't spill nearly as much as I do, so it might be "partially" user-error, but not all. *Disclaimer 2 - I didn't mean to rhyme, but it entertains me, so I'll keep it.

I have been impressed the difference that "real" ski boots make compared with ex-rentals. They actually respond to my movements... my skiing is actually good now! However, they are definitely a low-volume boot and if you have any bit of flatness in your feet you will feel it.

I don't understand the $5 chairs from Wal-mart or even the Therm-a-Rest convertible chairs. Why try to sit in something that isn't a Crazy Creek? This chair has been a lifesaver in terms of comfort and easy of use. I won't ever bring another chair on a camping trip. That, and you can use this as a sleeping pad in conjunction with a 3/4 length Ridge Rest.

Ok, so I don't have kids of my own, but that just means that I can spoil my nephew who is now 6 months old. And, though my sister is tiny, he is a 'healthy' baby. Therefore, when I got this for him for Christmas, I really should have sized up. Even though I have to exchange it, I'm still super stoked on these overalls. They are very soft, have great snaps on the under-part, and are all around the cutest thing ever! Thanks!

I got one of these for my dad's car (so that he had no excuses not to go for a bike ride) and we both have been very pleased with how easy it is to set up and remove fromthe car (he doesn't want it there ALL the time) and to load and unload our bikes. The instructions are simple to follow and Yakima makes some pretty bomber products.

I've found in the past that Nixon runs a bit small, but this hoody was right on. It fits well and is super cute! The material is really high quality and very warm. I've been really pleased.

Though the pun is bad, these pants are solid. I had a few issues figuring out the right size combination—the Large waist is a bit big (I wear a size 10) and the short is a little short (I'm 5'5") but the Med Reg was slightly more ridiculous. So I’ve settled and am content. I need to wear a belt with them, but the grey color is awesome and the weight is perfect for slightly cold days.

I think its the extra 'a' in the name that keeps it a little more grounded... either that or the fact that its sweatshirt instead of a painting. Anyway, its pretty "realy" -- cozy, comfortable, and true to size. The sleeves are a little odd, but it's cute.

I was kind of stoked on these socks, and they are definitely lightweight, cute, etc. but I had to return them. My shoe size is a 7.5/8.0 and I bought the medium (judging off the other review on them, and the style). When I put them on, the heel was on my ankle! They were just too big in the toes, and around. I think next time I'll get the small size.

Initially, I was all about the BOA version of the Arnuva's, and then I realized that, well, they ate my feet when I wore low socks. I ended up getting a pair of these instead and they are SO much better! My feet are happy because they don't have that dumb dial in the back. The width, size, and cushion of them is excellent... and they are still really lightweight and have held up to distances between 3 and 9 miles on trail and on the road. The blue color is kind of girly, but isn't as bad as some choices out there. All in all, really pleased with them!

I was super stoked on these when I was on my shopping spree... I mean,who doesn't have room in their closet for a pair of capri sweats? They just looked SO cozy. However, when they arrived and I put them on, they lost their luster. They weren't as roomy as I thought (maybe I should have upsized?) and the side-tie was just weird. I couldn't rationalize them, but still think they are cute--just not for me.

I've written about the men's ones already (hint: They are the same shoes!) but figured I wanted to/needed to expound about these shoes because, really, you can't go wrong with a pair of these. They have style (dots/stripes/checks!), they have comfort (I've worn them many days in a row, and love them) and they fit true to size (the exchange rate, of course). All in all, I need more patterns!

This is great pack; I've used it for every type of hike. For a couple summers I worked as a ranger at Philmont and this pack started off as a "I'll risk it and try to pack this light" and then it turned into, "why take anything else?" If you are out for short time, it'll fit everything. If you have less group gear, you can make it work. Its very streamline and minimalist, it just all around solid. It also fits in the overhead compartments on airplanes, so its awesome for those short trips home.

I skied a pair of Crispi's last season and liked them fine, but decided to treat myself to a new pair of boots this year. Boy, am I glad that I made the commitment to tele and these boots. They are very supportive, very responsive, and very, very awesome. They inner thermo-fit liner is everything I could hope for, and so far, I really think my skiing has gotten BETTER because of these boots. As far as sizing goes, I actaully went down about 0.5 from my alpine boots (weird, I know).

I wore this jacket touring in Southern Utah last march. Its warm and cozy, for sure, but almost too warm for ski touring. Its definitely more for Mountaineering and lots of stop and go; it would probably good for layering on SUPER cold days under a shell. I was pleased with the Women's specific fit, and liked the waffle-like inner fleece. It didn't have pit-zips, so I just wouldn't wear it for very athletic endeavours.

It’s a lot more sheer than it looks in the images, but that just makes it sexier. The logo stitching is really cute, and the distinctive, crazy stitching on the back is really unique. The way the arms and bottom roll make it fall at the right place on your waist/hips: It doesn't ride up funny. Its a great sweater to dress up, or make casual. I'm going to get another color in it, for sure.

I am starting to use this cookset at home because it is better quality and easier to clean than the crap WalMart pots and pans in my kitchen cupboard. MSR has done a great job creating a high quality cookset that can cook anything. They provide just the right size pots for anything you would want on the trail. The only downfall is that it doesn't easily carry my dragonfly stove.

Ok, I admit it. I own 2 pairs, and I wear them all the time. There is nothing better than finishing a race or a long bike ride and slipping these puppies on to have your feet "breathe"... ahh... please sir, can I have another?

So, I never got the McMurdo Jacket because it has a steez factor of about 95 from the ability to hide various weapondry to the multiple XL sizing and the fur... but these boots were an instant buy because they escape a few of those factors by having a gentle, girly pink accent. They are possibly the warmest boots that I have ever worn. The fur makes the cozy-cozy, the intense rubber makes them ultra-waterproof, and the TNF logo means that they are super good quality. Size-wise, I went up a half size (i'm a 7.5/8.0 and bought an 8) so that I can rock huge wool socks. They are my go-to boots for post-skiing and pre-shoveling.

First off, this is a great deal on snowshoes! Secondly, and more importantly, the Women's specific Elevation are awesome! really easy to use, lightweight, and durable. I'm mainly a skier, but since I picked these up, I'm stoked to go out and hike around!

So, I accidentally bought this in two colors... ... and I purposefully wear them both -- a lot! It fits well, is good quality, and the asymmetrical stitching on the back is rad! I randomly decided to wear the black one to a job interview to see if i could pull it off as 'dressy' (I could)... and I got a complement on it! (on my interview answers, a little less so, but hey, I looked good). I really love this sweater a lot more than a loveless item should be loved.

I am sunglasses OBSESSED, and I needed a new pair to rock around town. These were exactly what I needed: huge, hot, and super sexy. I've been sporting them around LA for months now and I'm so stoked! The double-small logos on the side are kinda a cool alternative to the larger logo and the tortise shell is perfection.

I thought this was an attractive dress with good lines and everything, but when I got it, I wasn't as stoked on it. I think I could have fixed most of this sizing up, but it didn't quite excite me as much as I though -- Its a little more form fitting than I expected. It was comfortable, soft, and casual, but... a little too Contour-following than contour-wearing.

These are great! I hiked the Inca trail a few weeks ago and rocked these babies for a most of the time out there. They fit well, work excellently hiking, and are super cute too! Patagonia makes excellent products, right down to the undergarments. I really love them!

so, I was told I have plantar faschitis (which i totally spelled wrong right there, but since i find everything irritating about it, including its spelling, I'm not going to change it.) and I'm supposed to wear shoes "with support"... now, for most people, they would regulate themselves to sneakers and the like, but I live in SoCal, so i need to be able to wear flip-flops 90% of the year. The Chaco flips can be worn because of their amazing support and style and everything! I love them. They are a little narrow, but I just make sure that I go up a half-size... I love these shoes!

This is a beautiful dress and a nice material, but... I'm a size 10 girl with 'normal' proportions, and the top was a little too, how do you say it... 'risque' for me. If you are, uh, 'smaller on top' then, go for it!

So, well... I live in SoCal and that means that I can fully rationalize any dress purchase. I took this to a new extreme last month and purchased about 5 dresses from Dogfunk. A few of them weren't as flattering on me as they were on the website... however, this one was, well, AWESOME! It fit true to size and was long enough. All around a rockin' dress for wearing to class or out-and-about.

I got this (actually on WhiskeyMilitia, but its probably about that price now) and realized that I already had a black jumper... but buyers remorse was unable to set in because it was TOO CUTE TO RETURN! Argh. So I kept it and now I wear it about once a week... oops.

I got this shirt without really knowing what to expect, but I really like it. The two-toned fabric style is really different and it almost has more of a peasant-look than you think from the picture. It fits true to size too!

I am with the other reviewer -- It is a bit short, but its way cute! I really like it, and I'll wear it all the time. I definitely feel slammin' when wearing it.

I was pretty excited about this dress. Its a beautiful color and a cute style. However, when it arrived, it wasn't exactly all that. For the size, it was SUPER long, and clingy in a few of the wrong places. I was kind of bummed that I wasn't 3 inches taller (I'm 5'5") or 20 pounds lighter (I'm a size 10). If you have none dimensions, go for it... I would be jealous.

Bad Puns aside, this is a pretty sweet watch. I needed something that was a little more casual then a Suunto, but not quite a bad boy nixon watch. This watch fulfills that niche. The blue color is really cool, and it tells time accurately (important, eh?). The only downfall is that its made for a fatter wrists; I'm on the smallest hole.

I was scoping out tees for awhile, and got this because I liked the color combo and wanted to try out the long-tee thing. Its cut a bit longer than I expected--some times you see those pictures and you think they are just "stretched"--this one is that long. Anyway, I'm keeping it because its really cute and fits well.

I truly wish that I was able to wear those knee length shorts that seem to be all the rage, but seriously, I don't have the calves for it. Luckily there are cropped pants like these that are really cute and stylish, and don't make my calves look fat. In fact, these pants are the perfect length. They are also true to size, with enough low rise that they sit comfortably. The brown color is really different, and the fabric is really soft. The pockets on the back are great accents, and I got compliments both times that I wore them.

So I heard that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are going to be back on the big screen in the next few months, and that means their foe -- Splinter -- will also be back. Now, I'm a pacifist and a girl, and really, Splinter doesn't do it for me, but this tee does. It fits true to size, and has a sweet plunging neckline and a cute flowers... I mean, what rat would wear flowers? But the turtles, they are artists; they would appreciate the flowers.

80% of my life I'm pretty restrained. I go to work at my desk job; I geek-out on numbers; and (I almost hate to admit) love it when my excel spreadsheets do what I want them to! The other 20% of the time, I play hard with friends and fam as much as I can. What it adds up to is that I'm pretty intense in work and life and this shirt/hoody/vest multi-tasking genius of fashion and function fits right in how I need it to. Its little bit more than just a shirt, but isn't too out there for the office world. I can style out with the long length and big waist-band; I can play a little with the hoody and stitching across the chest; and I can look super cute cause it fits true to size. Its never wrong--just like me.

Its mellow exterior aside, this stove rages with the inferno of many stoves! Simmering is indeed difficult, but not impossible (I baked cinnamon buns a few times on this puppy.) I used this on NOLS for 28 days, and didn't dread having to work with it ever. Its SO easy to use, lightweight, and easy to clean. Though I now have a Jetboil, the whisperlite will continue to be a classic way to prepare any number of dishes for a larger group.

I really like they way they fit and feel at the gym or on the road running. They are a little shorter than I'm used to, but I've been really pleased. They sit low, fit right, and feel good.

I love hoodies. There is something about the comfort and coziness of something with a hood, and the Lupine keeps that theme going. I wasn't too sure about the pockets on the ribbing, but its really cute. The 'Rare earth brown' is an awesome color too... Just heathered enough to be different and really cute. Additionally, it fits well and true to size.

I have nothing bad to say about these pants. They fit true to size; they are comfortable; they are soft, but... they didn't really do it for me. I guess its because they weren't really gray enough. I expected Graphite to be Gray, but they were a brown-ish gray and I didn't really have a place in my closet for them. However, besides that, they were really nice.

I can't say enough nice things about this pack. It's seriously far and away the greatest pack out there! 62L is a great size for almost every event. The women's specific fit makes it even better. The way it sits on your hips, and stays on your shoulders. I'll be the first to admit my obsessive, compulsive tendencies, and this backpack works with my type A personality and everything that I demand from my gear. I have used this pack countless times, and I don't know if I will ever get another pack (sorry sales people... you can't sway me from the Bora 62).

Good enough for me! Ok, So Dean, where do I begin? You run marathons--ultras, Badwaters, 50 marathons in 50 days and these are YOUR SHOES! And that, alone, was kind of why I got them. However, little did I realize that if you don't look like a small, greek, negligible fat-percent ultra-marathoner, you probably won't run like one either. So, well I like these for 3-8 mile runs, I wasn't a big fan of them for anything longer. Another Dean-obsessed friend of mine is more built like him (not greek, but no-fat) and she LOVES them. I'll probably still run marathons in Brooks Adrenalin's, but these are pretty good to rotate into the mix. They also fit true to size and I did like the BOA system.

I'm packing this puppy. Its HUGE! I went to Europe for a couple weeks (family trip--I had to have the range of clothes!) and I packed this bag and still had room for my ridiculous souvenirs for the flight back. (I had to pay the oversize fee, but still--I needed that t-shirt from that street vendor!) Anyway, there are some excellent features inside too. A shoe pocket, the padding, etc. It was awesome to wheel around the airport too.

I had a little bit of a hard time thinking about how to start this review. I go to Alta, and I ride up Collins or Supreme, and I just sit there, in awe. It's just far and away my favorite place to ski. It's so un-prentious, even the new Wilson Shelter--it has awesome food but looks like a bomb shelter. There are killer runs, unbelievable snow, and some of the most beautiful skiers that I have seen anywhere (ski style, not necessarily hotties). I'm just happy when I get to go.

Every season Brighton pushes to open first, so I get a day or so in there, and I always want to jump ship and ski Brighton all season. The backcountry access, the flair-bears killing it in the parks and fun runs off virtually every lift (especially Great Western) make it an awesome place to ride, or ski.

Seriously. I still remember the first time I skied there: The snow, the terrain, the tram, the fact that the season is SO INCREDIBLY LONG! I mean, you can't go wrong. Additionally, other people who aren't into skiing (my sister) can spa it up at the Cliff, and we can meet later after I've shredded all day.

I got this board even though I'm probably more on the "beginning" side than the "advanced" side of the snowboarding thing. I was initially a little worried about it being to stiff for me, but have been nothing but pleased with its performance and forgiveness for anything that I use it on. It’s a great board. I'm 5'5" and about 150; I'm riding the 155 and it's the right size.

These bindings are very responsive, and great! I've been super happy with their performance and ease of use. Everything is dialed while wearing the stilettos.

On can forget that these are under the men's category... but really they are unisex. I got a checked pair (size 6.5) and am so stoked on them. I find myself wanting to buy more stuff to match my shoes! (ok, that was really girly, but still). They fit well and look good. Thanks.

I can only confirm what the other 60 people above have said about the Nuptse. Its a solid jacket--warm, packable, even fashionable. I actually wear mine more for winter camping, etc. and have been satisfied with its performance. It will shed sometimes, but in general, I know that it's there for me.

I've used this on camping trips (car and backcountry) and its so easy to use, clean and store.

They wick moisture and they fit well. In fact, I end up wearing them for non-athletic endeavours also, because they are so comfortable. I'll get more for sure.

I got this tee because it was different, and have been really pleased with it. The little hit on the hip is super cute, and the cap sleeves make it almost a tank, but not. Its got a really wide neck. I felt it was ok size wise too. (I'm a ten, and got a L.)

I really liked the retro look of this tee. The velvet lettering and ringer tee style. The slim fit makes it work too. I concur its a little short, but its not indecent or anything. Also, Burton's outerwear fits big, but this shirt is true to size.

I got these shoes in an 7.5 (I'm a skate shoe 8, running shoe 7.5) and am super pleased with their fit and performance. They aren't as burly as my montrails, so I can wear them on the road approach too! They also offer more support than my normal road shoes, so I've been stoked on using them for everything! All in all, these are great shoes!

I got a couple pairs of these and am really happy with how they have performed though a variety of events. From running to biking, to even just wearing around, they are my favorite pairs of socks.

This shirt is so much better than a piece of long underwear. Partially because it's stylish enough that I can wear it to work or around town (after skiing, etc.) But mostly because it's just a great shirt. The thumb loops, the medium weight, un-stinky fabric, and the cut are just some of the reasons that this is a great shirt. The collar is higher than most, but that just helps on the super-cold days.

I was at a party the other evening, and someone popped in this video; the entire room went silent. Ok, so maybe we are a little obsessive, and a bit too into skiing, but watching this movie we were quite close to putting down our drinks so we could get an early start the next morning (not really). Anyway, this movie has some rad segments, and I'm in awe of Victoria Jealouse, so I liked it. Additionally, the black and white was kind of cool.

This movie is really good. Its not quite the same watching it in an apartment as it is at a Supershow, so I just make sure to turn up the music even louder and run into my furniture a couple times. The skiing is killer, and the soundtrack is awesome.

This is one of those pieces that doesn't so much need real words to describe its comfort--sounds will do. Its just that cozy. I concur with the shedding thing in the dryer, but figure that the green fuzz all over the place just reminds me that I should be wearing this sweatshirt instead of whatever else I thought about wearing. (PS, I'm a size 10 and the Large was perfect.)

Aliterations aside, this vest is great for when you need to be seen. Its simple, easy to use, and fits most people. We bought some for the Wasatch Back Relay and were very pleased.

I went on an all-out-no-holds-barred black fleece jacket hunt last month. We're talking lots of procrastination (uh, research?) at work looking for the penultimate in fleece jackets. I definitely found it in the monkey woman. Its SO warm, SO flattering, and SO, uhh fleecy (?) that I don't have to worry about being cold or uncomfortable. This is the jacket.

This hoody is definitely cozy. The fabric is warm and nice, but all in all, I wasn't a fan of the way that it ended up fitting. I have other HT stuff, so I don't think its everything they make. I'm a size 10, and have some shape to my upper body, and it ended up hitting to high on the waist-line; I didn't like it as much as I could have. I'm sure I could have gone up a size but ended up just buying a The North Face one.

The other review that spoke about the surprising satisfaction with these dumb-looking shoes was spot on. They definitely aren't flashy, or really all that cute, but they are far and away the most durable trail runners I've come across in a long time. The way the tongue is attached means that they fit snug on your feet. They are very supportive on the trails, and worked wonders on the Trail marathon I did. (I survived). They also fit true to size, so I was stoked I could actually order them online and not worry about the fit.

I feel to go indepth on the carhartt is to almost give in on the secret of the club. I mean, these pants are probably one of the most worth-while investments that you can make as far as work pants go. I did fire rehab work in New Mexico and wore these EVERY DAY. Now, I wear them post-skiing because I've broken them into the point that they are more comfortable then most jeans. They fit true to size, and are really the stanard in work pants.

If you are interested in an easy-access, all-mountain experience then definitely look to Park City Mountain Resort. Where else can you ski down to town to grab a 'real' lunch, or go hit up a couple runs at night? There are some cool areas to the mountain too (I won't divulge on this, but check it out, you might be lucky to find them!) There's a reason why people love to ski Park City... its worth it!

Like I wrote over on my ski carrier review, you definitely should buy MORE lock-cores than the current number of locks you have. This way when you pick up another carrier (for your other car, or another sport) you can use the same key! These are seemless to install and give great peace of mind.

Seriously. Ages ago I was able to move from NM to UT with just my car (yes, its a gas-guzzling SUV, but still.) Now, however, I've aquired more gear than is healthy, and to go anywhere, I need to have the Flat Top on my car to move my skis around (2 pairs and a snowboard). It was super easy to install on my factory rack, and is sturdy and easy to use. I'm really glad I got the six-capacity one also! I definitely recommend getting lock-cores too (buy more than you think you need, so when you buy a bike rack and boat carrier, use still only need one key!)

A few years ago I went to park city and had a good time, but over the last couple of years I've gone to The Canyons. This year I took a friend who was out visiting... he confirmed what I had been thinking--The Canyons is way better. Its less crowded, there is a ton of variety, and its super easy access to the backcountry, or whatever you are looking for. Plus, this deal is pretty sweet. Skiing is starting to get pricey, and 3 tickets for under $150 is difficult to find.

Like a fine wine, the Carb-boom gels have mellow undertones of flavor that only with a tasting can you discover. I mean, I guess its gel, and you are used to it tasting like CRAP, but these actually surprise you. My favorite flavors are the vanilla/orange or strawberry/kiwi and I'm not a fan of apple/cinnamon. In comparison to other gel-options, I would say these are more like a powergel than a clif gu. (I hate gu. A LOT!)

The banana taste isn't too overbearing, and the nutty combination means that these would work well for anyone who wants something a little different than the same old powerbar. They pack a ridiculous amount of calories, protein and carbs into one place; I tend to buy chocolate covered powerbars, but actually really liked the healthy, non-chocolate taste of these.

These bags are bomber. I'm really hard on gear, and though I throw this around, it is still going strong! I have the small size, and though it fits all the stuff I need on most days, my laptop has wider screen, so it can't fit in my laptop sleeve and then in the bag (its fine sans sleeve). Other than that, though, all is more than well.

Ok, so maybe the pun is bad, but this shirt is definitely good. Its really simple, but thats why I've been so pleased with it. It fits true to size, is long enough so that it fits over your waistband, and the little pattern at the bottom makes it more than your average beater-tank.

Serious. I went tele-ing this morning, and its a little cold inside, so I didn't feel like changing out of them. Thats how much I like these pants. I got them for a week-long ski tour I went on in Utah. The LIFA inner layer stays surprisingly fresh after a ton of runs, and the inner thigh zips are a great heat-releasing option. I'm a size 10 and got a size L. I probably could have been comfortable in the Med, but decided I liked the baggier fit of the Large. (There are elastic waistbands that make the get snugger). They are really well-made and flattering.

For a while, I used to just wear whatever free socks I could snag from my mom's sock drawer, or could finagle from a give-away. Then, this one time, I actually bought ski/snowboard socks. I realized that they actually do something different than my smartwool hiking socks. They are supportive and fit well in my boots. These are a little thicker than I'm used to, but since my favorite boots are a little packed out, these are perfect. Plus, the design is really cute and I like to wear them after riding also!

The color is gorgeous: The plum looked really sweet. The cut was nice, and the neckline attractive. It fits a bit smaller than I expected (I'm a size 10, and if I gained 5 lbs the L would be too small.) Otherwise I liked the tee.

I searched long and hard for a watch that I liked that was small and girly, without being lame, and big and easy to read without taking over my wrist. I found that in the Union Square. I'm really pleased with the fit and style and am a huge fan of the square face.

So, you could try to make fun of me for the fuzzy boots, but I dare you to wear these and NOT love them. Its like walking on cushy-air. They have negligable functional value (don't try to navigate slippery slopes or go shreddin' in these puppies), but they are so worth every penny. They fit true to skate shoe size, too. I have size 8 other DC shoes, and am happy with the medium.

I was so stoked to pick up these Element jeans and when they arrived I couldn't get over how rad they looked! The back pockets and the lines are SUPER CUTE! the color is great! THEN, however, I put them on and my satisfaction dropped a little bit. Whereas I own three pairs of Volcom Jeans (size 11) and find them to be more than fine, the size 11 Struts are a bit too 'slim-fit' for me. The waist size is perfect (even a bit loose) while the thigh/hip area just aren't going to work out so well. I got them in Dirty Black, and tried on the Junkyard and those fit better... In general, if you have muscles, you need to size up. If you are trimmer, they are cute.

I finally got a pair of these after a rough debate between Sorels and any other boot on this website. Though I can't really say if I would have been happier with Sorels, I can definitely say that I'm stoked on these. They are SUPER warm, very waterproof and extra-durable. Also, they actually fit true to size which I found to be one of thier best features. I'm really glad I did these over the over-rated Chilkats--The fur is a really nice benefit.

For the Wasatch back relay (a 2-day race from outside Logan to Park City) our team relied on the pieces in the package. With 3 race sections of 3-8 miles, there were definitely blisters and the first-aid kit was helpful to contain other minor set-backs. In addition, the vest was needed for the long trudge through the night. Finally, you can never go wrong with the Petzl Tikka! And we did pretty well on the run too!

I've had a slew of headlamps throughout the ages, and The Tikka is one of the top ones out there. It’s small (fits in a pocket), bright (all the levels are useful), and functional. I'm really pleased with it.

Large glasses have reached new extremes, and I'm stoked to be right there. Since I got these sunnies I've packed up all my other sunglasses and am wearing these non-stop. The gold/gold combo rocks! They are comfortable and aren't overbearing on my normal-sized head. Wearing them I feel like I should be rolling down Laguna Ave. in my convertible instead of on the back roads to grocery store, but I don't care... cause I rock these shades everywhere! Thanks!!

I love Coal Beanies. I doubt I will wear any other brand of beanie again. Seriously. The UK beanie is cute, comfy, warm--everything you would want and need from a hat. Because of they type of wool, It’s a little more snug than some hats, but that just makes it warm! There is a nice fleece lining inside too.

I got this jacket for my dad for Christmas, and he's been so happy to replace his more fashion-y Polo Rain Jacket. The black color has nice lines and fits well. Its great for golf, walking around on vacation, etc. When I drag him out camping, he'll bring this too! He's 6 ft. tall and pretty normal build and the XL works well.

I originally considered getting this jacket for technical pursuits--skiing, riding, etc. But then when it arrived, I quickly determined that it is much better suited to the technical walking down Main St. Park City during Sundance. Its definitely warm, very sleek fitting (I have a North Face shell size Med. But got this in a Large) and like someone else mentioned, does ride up slightly sometimes. The picture doesn't show it exactly, but the ribbed part isn't connected to the bottom of the down part; its connected slightly above so it doesn't poof out funny. I still love it, I just had to acknowledge its real purpose: Looking cool.

Like the other reviewer above, these tights pleasently surprised me. They are comfortable without being restrictive, breathe well in warmer weather, but still work fine in a little chillier atmosphere. I've used them with my bike shorts in cold weather and its a great combo. They fit true to size.

So, "technically" I haven't worn this jacket riding yet. Hope as I might, we just don't have quite enough snow this Sept. to get out there. BUT I got this in the mail, and I'm even more stoked on riding this winter. This fit isn't as ghetto-baggy as past burton jackets. (I'm a 10, bought a L. The sleeves are a bit long, but the cut is perfect with a long sleeve layer, wool or light fleece). The fabric is shiny without being silly-looking, and really soft, but seems durable. There are all kinds of cute, well thought out features. The pass pocket, the side zip for your neck, the hood is just the right size. Even the powder skirt lines up perfectly with the asymmetrical zipper. Anyway, I love it.

I was warned about the single wall tent- I believe the phrase was "sweat-box", so when I took this out on a few trips, I braced myself, and ended up being really pleased. 2-person is kind of a stretch; unless you REALLY like the person you are sharing with, or space/weight is an issue. This tent is part of a crazy-light package from TNF, so what it misses in breeze, it makes up for it packability. Its phenomenally easy to set up, take down, etc. I'll admit its tough to go from a two door system to a one front door, but the vesibule is decent size, so it works. Overall, this tent is completely worth it.

I got this t-shirt the other day, and am really pleased with it. The hit on the hip of the flowers is really cute, and the contrast-y elbow patches are different and fun. Its very thin weight, so you do have to wear something under it (in the white), but all in all, a pleasing pick. Just enough different to be better than your average shirt.

Coal makes the best beanies. Honestly, you may question the price, but quality is important, and these are of great quality, style, etc. Beanies make a fashion statement and Coal knows that. This one is super cute and fits over your ears well. I can't say enough good about it.

I could have probably stopped at the title because it explains it all, but I'll elaborate. The DIAD is ultra-lightweight and packable to a small pocket in a camelbak. It works well in a deluge, or even a light sprinkle. It took a bit to get used to the lack of pockets, but it gives clean lines and is really appealing.

Mary Janes makes amazing food. While hiking the highline trail, we tried a variety of items, and since we were covering A LOT of miles, never seemed to be satiated. However, this pasta was fabulous and makes a big difference in keeping us happy and full! It’s super easy to make and really good.

I picked up these kicks because I really wanted a pair of comfortable shoes that weren't *skate* shoes. These brought me back to the roo shoes of yore, and since they are from Gravis, have even better color combos, but no pocket. They are great for everyday use, but are super distinct, so you need to get 2 pairs so you can rotate through effectively!

I'm a big fan of these socks and have already put a fair amount of miles on them. They are comfortable, breathe well and keep me free from blisters. Teko also is very considerate of the environment through smart production, packaging, etc. and I really appreciate products and companies I can believe in.

Made for small skater chicks! Despite what the picture might lead you to believe, be forewarned in choosing your size. It’s relatively narrow in the chest region. I almost always wear a Large or Size 10, and I have to return this Large because of fit. Bummer, it’s a really cute shirt. It’s soft and cute, just small.

Really. I mean, I have muscular calves so board shorts fall at a weird place... however, for some reason I ended up getting these shorts and I don't look silly! They fit true to size, and they are very flattering... I'm pretty excited.

I have loved Nikita for a long time--its kind of ridiculous actually, and this top fits right into my icelandic flow. The neckline is rad, and the gray/orange is a killer combo; just different enough to get people looking. Also, Nikita has sorted out theier sizing, finally, and you can get this shirt the size you would normally buy.

I have been in awe of these boots for AGES--however, I wasn't able to pick up a pair until almost the end of the winter, so I didn't wear them as much before the heat wave hit. However, the few times I did--man, it doesn't get much better. They are squishy and comfortable; they are stylish-for sure. I think sizing follows the size chart well. (I'm a 7.5 and foot size fine. I do have MONSTER calves, and they are a little snug for the med. but not bad). All in all I'm counting down the days till the next snowfall, so I can break them out again.

I went on a ridiculous 8- mile-in-4-day hike with some hard core peeps with a goal of going as light as possible. This was only possible with this pack. Its large enough to fit my sleeping bag, tent and food, as well as the layers needed, but not too much more. PROS: It caries REALLY WELL for fastpacking. The material is super-light, but puncture-resistant. The roll-top allows the pack to be used for anything from overnighters to 4/5 days. CONS: It’s so streamline that there is no "good" place to put a Nalgene. (You pretty much have to use a CamelBak.)

Because I, a girl who is not a big fan of accessorizing, needed to find a pair of sunglasses that would work all the time, while still being cute enough to be unique. I definitely was able to find this in the Vol.... They are dressy with the right amount of steez. Burly and durable while still being girly. Plus, the brown to green fade is just crazy enough to be siiiick. One last note, because they are slightly square-er, they work really well on slightly round-ed faces.

I saw some girl wearing this skirt at a bbq the other week, and I had to copy her and pick it up. Its SOO cute. The sizing is a little odd--I wear a 10, so I went for a large, and the waist band is 'loose-ish' while the bum area is 'snug-ish'. Overall, though, I love it!

I concur that this sweatshirt is a little small, but I still got the "right" size and it fits fine, just not for layering. It's plenty warm for shredding in the spring and wearing around. It's REALLY cozy and soft inside. The patch is ultra-funky and kind of fun, while the zippers on the sleeves are kind of random, but cute.

I've had a fair assortment of hydration packs in my past, and this one is my current favorite. While trail running (all over) it stayed steady, didn't chafe, and held more than enough water for whatever I put it through. It didn't seem "too big" for short trips, but had enough space for an afternoon of hiking with the ten essentials. The on/off switch was easy to use on the fly and it prevented leaking.

I don't necessarily agree with the previous post about the tightness of the fit. After an exhaustive search through all the pants I could find, I FINALLY picked up a pair of the divine capris, and found them heavenly. Yes, they sit a bit low (if you brought them to your waist it might be tight) but they are really cozy and comfortable. The lycra stretch fabric moves with you. The leg openings are a little wider than I expected, but it just makes them that much more relaxed.

Really, there aren't too many reasons to wear gaiters. They give you strange tan lines and most trails are maintained well enough to keep from needing to bushwhack. But there are those occasions when gaiters are needed, and these fit well, are of burly construction and work fabulously. I was really happy with them snowshoeing over the winter and traipsing through the woods this summer.

I was stoked on picking up this shirt because it’s a cute style and the heather colors are awesome. However, when I got the large (which I wear in Volcom, Oakley, etc.) it was so small I gave it to my 5'0", 100lb sister and she wears it (a little loosely). So, definitely size up.

I first saw Icebreaker when I was over in New Zealand and was traveling around. It looked so luxurious, but I couldn't necessarily afford to pick up a shirt. I've finally gotten, not one, but two Icebreaker pieces and absolutely love them. They don't stink, are soft, have a flattering fit, and all around work for skiing and running. I've been very pleased and am all but converted to wool under layers.

I was super stoked to get this tank. Look at the picture--it's so cute looking. However, when I got it, I wasn't as excited. The colors are still really cute, but its definitely more "sporty" than casual. The neckline is more of a wide-scoop than a v-neck, and it's more boxy than fitted. Still, cute colors, and a good material.

This tee is super cute. It fits true to size (I'm about a 10, and got a Large). I've worn it a TON! It's a little more see-through than it looks on the website, but showing off is worth it, right?

It's not often that you can buy something covered in holes and wear it as clothing everywhere. This tube top is definitely well constructed, fits true to size, and really, just works. Yes, you defintiely have to wear an undershirt when you are rocking this on the street, but on the beach (as a cover-up) or at a summer BBQ, this top is an awesome option.

I'll break down and admit a small obsession here in this little box on this website: I really like jeans. In fact, I think I have about nine pairs right now. Two cheap pairs, two "normal", two REALLY expensive ones, and three pairs of Volcom. With all of that variety, I still find myself LOVING the Monogram Jean. They’re (close to) my most recent acquisition, and they provide a great fit, a good look, and the comfort of jeans to which I have become accustomed. In fact, while wearing them to work, these were mistaken for my super expensive jeans for their look and fit. It made me smile and glad that I got them.

I first bought this as a size "L" (I wear a size 10 in traditional trousers, 11 in Volcom/Junior Sizing) but it was about a foot too long. I returned it and got a medium instead. As I put the med. on, I put it on the SMALLEST buckle hole. Awesome for me, but kind of tinier than I would have expected. As for the style, it’s really cute. The cursive "Burton" accent is really nice and the printing gives it a different look than a normal old belt. All in all, I'm very pleased.

The first pair of Patagonia Baggies I owned were bought in 1999 before I went on a NOLS trip to the Absorka Mtn. Range in Wyoming. A lovely shade of sea-green, not only did they survive 28 days in backcountry without being washed (swimming in rivers doesn't technically count) but they made it 6 years and 1 warranty repair. I finally retired them early this year when I picked up some pairs. These continue to be my favorite short for hiking, running-- everything. I bought a couple of men's ones a few years ago, but the lining is irrating and the pockets aren't as nice. The lines on the back are also much nicer on the women's design.

I've been excited about this jacket for months. In fact, I even created a new designation for outdoor gear when it arrived. "Technical Casual" is the fusion of technical elements (Hyvent, waterproof fabrics, etc.) with Casual Ideals (women's fit, the belt, bell-sleeves). Anyway, the Grace jacket has provided me with opportunities to sway the thought processes of formal gear-geeks, business colleagues, and friends with its elegant and graceful look and ability to keep the rain at bay. I enjoy the opportunity to wear it. The only down fall is that the sleeves are a little long.

I've been wearing a Versa Move tee for the past few months about half the time I go running. It wicks moisture well, doesn't reek like cotton, and doesn't cling funny like some lightweight crew shirts. It’s been great under a long sleeve for skiing, and even better for wearing on its own. The random reflective strips on the side are surprisingly slimming and add just enough so you don't look like you are wearing a plain shirt.

Been a fan of Oakley tees for awhile; they tend to make some super cutie icons or designs to accent what would otherwise be a simple crew top. The texture on this one also is really fun and playful. The only bummer is that it’s SUPER long, but not quite to the-over-the-butt hipster look. Other than that, it’s great!

I was really excited to get this belt; I thought that it was cute and would work well. However, the second time I wore it, two of the studs fell off and by the 4th time, it was cracking around the hole. I ended up having to get rid of it last week. Bummer. The only reason to get it is because it is for a good cause.

It’s a pretty mellow mountain in terms of terrain, but who needs steeps when you can get killer turns in freshies 90% of the time you go there? I had never even heard of this place before this year, and now I'm conflicted between telling everyone about how great it is, and wanting to keep it my own little powder secret. The people are friendly, the hills are wide open, and did I mention that the snow is always good? This place rocks!

I've always been in awe of telemark skis and finally, this year, I'm stepping up to be one of the cool kids. These skis are helping my cause too. They are responsive enough to handle even my most pathetic attempts at turning, while providing enough stiffness so that when I get to the next level these skis will be with me. They are MUCH better on-piste then my pocket rockets too! They are super light for touring too. Really pleased with them.

Anytime I wear the Polka Dot Goggles on the hill, all the guys stare. It’s a bit intimidating when I'm riding a gnarly hill, or acting silly in the lifeline, but I show them the way and who could blame them. These goggles are hot. Oh—and they work really well too. I haven't had issues with fogging (beyond the every once in a while weather issues.) The mirror lens works well for all bluebird days, and even in low light in a pinch. Rock on.

I have been stoked on these pants for awhile. They are awesome for riding or (horror of horrors!) dropping a knee on almost any day. A lightweight base layer does the trick for the more chilly days. They definitely run a bit big (I’m a 10 and the medium is perfect in the waist and still looks baggy in a good way.) The lines are clean though and the vents, pockets, ghetto slits, etc. are all awesome touches. They are my go-to pant this season.

The scallop was a bit more of the torn look than I had expected, but its still super cute. The cotton is really soft and comfy while the price was too good to pass up.

I owned a Nuptse before, but found when I was winter camping, it was just too bulky and annoying. So I got an Optimus. It rocks. I found that beyond just providing a lightweight, packable insulating layer, the Redpoint Optimus is awesome for wearing around town or under a shell for skiing. The toughest thing was deciding the classic black or the blue. I went blue and am really happy.

I've been in awe of this sweater in all the colors that it comes in for awhile. A friend of mine has the orange, and she rocks it. A girl I work with has the blue, and it’s really cute. I picked up the patterned one, and I love the classic fair isle look crossed with the asymmetrical buttons and the hood. I have worn it a ton already, and people are always asking where I got such a sweet sweater. Thanks.

Probably about 80% of the time I wear it as a vest, but it’s awesome anyway you rock it. It’s really warm for a cold mountain session and cute for around town. Ever since a friend of mine's girlfriend got it, I knew I needed to pick one up. The pockets are fleece lined and keep your hands warm, the fit is spot on, and the colors are sharp. Thanks!

This is the second Icebreaker piece that I have purchased here. The merino is soft and comfortable in all circumstances. The cut is slimming, yet moves well. The thumb holes are an excellent touch. This top is great for layering for skiing, running, or just wearing around. The temperature regulation is awesome—even with a double layer weave it’s not too warm or too cold. I have worn it to work, and get loads of compliments each time. The coco/bone is really a lovely deep brown color too.

This belt is great. Its quite simple, the canvas is durable and the buckle is sturdy. It holds up your pants and looks good doing it.

This jacket totally kills it. It’s super burly, but lightweight. Totally waterproof, but completely breathable. I have been nothing but satisfied with this jacket. For Skiing, backpacking or just wearing around town, this is the only jacket you need. The fit is forgiving and flattering, the pockets are well-positioned and good sized. That, and the red color is beautiful.

This Tee is awesome. It’s slim-fitting, but sized normally (I’m a 10 Long) and the different color dot pattern makes it much more exciting than most other T's I own. The only issue is that I couldn't decide which color to buy!

Snazzy, white, low cut shoe; Comfortable. I had to size up half a size from my normal 7.5, but beyond that, I've been happy with the fit and feel of these.

If you don’t already own a Jetboil—buy one, and if you do, you need this too. With the companion cup you can make coffee/tea/what-have-you in the original, and use the companion cup to boil water for oatmeal. Really, the possibilities are endless and you need this!!

These shoes are pretty sweet. They are a little smaller in comparison to some others—I went up half a size. They are ultra comfortable and look awesome with jeans, khakis, etc. Thanks.

A bit more snug than the Hergo (read: sexy), the Bandita's low rise and fit work well (read: sexy). The inseam is Super long, but I've hemmed them and they work better (read: sexy).

The seam down the front is siiick. The pants fit well, however they are a bit long for those of us who are only 5'4" and normal build. The vintage stretch is the way to go! The wash is a bit light, but works well for end of summer, fall colors and did I mention that the seam down the front is siiick?

I couldn't believe how easy the lever-action makes filtering water. I don't have to sit there and pump forever--The Sweetwater is possibly one of the easiest filters I've ever used. It’s also super easy to clean and lets you convert to a purifier with just a couple drops of stuff. I've been really happy with it.

I have a pair of Z/2s and thought I would try out the Zongs... and I'll never go back. The Zongs are an awesome combination of flip-flop style and Chaco form. The colors are sweet and the comfort is stellar. I was surprised I had to go up a size from normal though--I guess my feet are fatter than I thought.

Simple and elegant, the unbottle is easy-to-use, easy-to-clean, and great for putting in any pack. The big mouth makes filling up an any water faucet at a trailhead easy, and the outer layering means that the water bottle doesn't slump when get are hydrated later on in the hike.

Yeah, they are comfortable, and they are simple flip-flops, but they are super narrow. I went up a size and they still make my feet look fat. I like the color, but don't know how frequently I will wear them.

This shirt is just right for a light layer on a cool evening. It’s made of a super-comfy cotton, and the white has very classy, clean lines--plus it was a sick deal!

The interchangeable lenses make any type of light or environment just right. They fit a small-medium sized face perfectly and the root beer fade-bronze mirror is hot! They are definitely my favorite pair of sunnies.

Better than some of the other options on the market but a little syrupy/sticky. The flavor combinations strike me as slightly odd too. I like simple--vanilla, orange, but you mix these fruits together and it’s a bit difficult to eat the whole thing in one chug. Banana/Peach is better than the Strawberry/Kiwi.

These sunglasses work well for small to medium size faces. The angle at the top is not very "cat-like" but it’s just enough shape to look cool. The wine-fade color is lovely, also. Different from most sunglasses that you see on the market. I am also super hard on my gear and these sunglasses have held up to my tough love.

Great shirt for biking or running. The Vaporwick material breathes pretty well through the sweat and keeps me cool. The sleeves are short enough and the length of the tee long enough (I hate workout shirts that are cropped!) to make this a good all around shirt. I'll keep it in the running rotation.

I jumped on the open-cell-foam train when I finally bought this pad and I don't necessarily wan to go back. I sleep on my side a lot and this pad keeps my hips from hurting terribly when I wake up in my tent... in fact I sleep through the night now! It packs small and inflates easily. Excellent.

These are great for hiking, trail running, or just about anything involving wearing socks. I have put a ton of miles on these and have been very happy with their performance. My feet breathe well, the sock is low enough to "hide" but high enough to prevent blisters. These socks are slowly taking over my sock drawer!

I kind of questioned this sports bra when I first got it; it wasn't like what I was used to. Since that day, I realized I shouldn't question perfection. It is supportive and comfortable. I haven't had any issues with chafing or anything.

I have been in awe of this jacket since someone I know got it in the red color. It just looked so good! So I bought it, and wear it all the time. It’s heavy enough for chilly winter mornings in the mountains, and light enough to wear as a base layer under the ol' ski jacket. Plus, the red is Hot!

Took this pack on a crazy trail run and then another couple hikes. The fit was great. It stayed right on my shoulders and didn't irritate anything. However, the breathable mesh back paneling was not so breathable. Hey what do you expect, right? It’s a pack. All in all, I’ll definitely use it. Just only with a tank top or something super-well wicking so I don't have as much back-sweat.

Wear this shirt = turn heads. I have it in the green color and every time I wear it, someone gives me a compliment. It’s a pretty solid deal. It fits true to size and the white just pops off the solid color background. It’s my Friday night shirt, for sure.

It’s a belt, you know... it has belt like qualities BUT this time besides function, there is some sweet FORM to this belt too--color, style, extra holes.Good stuff. Thanks.

Finally a pair of TNF shoes that are true to fit--7.5 is a 7.5--awesome! and the yellow color is super flashy! I wore them a bit running on the road and had no issues. They were supportive and breathable; I figured they could handle a trail, BUT they ate my right heel on a rather hilly trail run in CA. Needless to say, they are going to be cool shoes for walking around town, no more.

Bought this jacket for my guy, and since he tried it on, he has worn it ALL the time for skiing, as a light layer, and basic carousing around town. I'm stoked that he likes the jacket so much--and he's pretty pleased with me too!

Bought this jacket for spring skiing and to wear around town. Got the light blue to look kind of girly--it worked for every one of those needs. It’s water-resistant, breathable, fits well and is warm. The blue is way cute, and I've been really pleased with it. Thanks!

I worried about trying out a fixed waist short for running--I'm just so used to elastic, but the fit and fabric work really well. The only downfall, they are a bit big (I wear a 10 usually) and ordered an L.

These shorts have done wonders for my comfort while running. They fit well with no riding up, etc. And look nice (can't go wrong with classic black!) I've done anything from 30 minutes to a couple hours in these and am happy with them.

These skis float over crud, slide through the pow, and turn effortlessly on the groomers. I truly love riding these skis as my all-around ski... don't really need another.

I got an Apex Bionic last year, and got the Magic this year, now I never want to wear my old softshell. This jacket has a sexy-great slimfit, is super lightweight, and works for layering or on its own.

Ok, so my head ain't SOO big... its got some smarts though, and I know a cute beanie when I see one. I really like how this looks (both on the site, and my head), but it’s just a wee small on my melon. I'll still wear it! Thanks, d-funk.

The size, the women's specific fit... I'll be the first to admit my obsessive, compulsive tendencies, and this backpack works with my type A personality and everything that I demand from my gear. I have used this pack countless times, and I don't know if I will ever get another pack (sorry sales people... you can't sway me from the Bora 62).

Vibram soles and comfortable fit mean that these sandals test the limits of what you can do with them. I had some terrible blisters in the middle of a hike and instead of suffering through my boots any longer, I popped on my chacos and continued on my way... Had a few issues from some small rocks, but made it though the hike with muddy, but happy feet. All thanks to the Z/2s...

The Lexan JavaPress works wonderfully in the backcountry or in case you don't own a Mr. Coffee in your tiny, tiny apartment. The grounds stay firmly beneath the press to create a satisfying brew, but the sweet nector of the gods trickles out a little slowly through the second filter at the spout, but it tastes too right in the morning to do without...

This pack can go from town to the backcountry with ease. Lots of places to be mildly organized, but also a large enough main pocket to fits all of the 10 essentials (if that includes a REALLY pack-able rain jacket). There isn't much excess room, but it will satisfy most short day hikes or for work or airplane carry-on.

These sunglasses rock. I've had them for a couple years, and except for the fact that I lost the comfort ear things, I'm very much enjoying the sunglasses.

I loved the comfort and look of these shoes and they were great for walking around town, impressing guys with my outdoor look, etc. However, when I started to use them on longer backpacking trips, they wore out incredibly fast. I got two holes and the sole started tearing away from the shoe... all in under 3 months. I really like Vasque shoes, but next time... vibram soles.
