Nice boot/shoe, it has a good platform and good traction. The design of the lace hooks being sort of sharp causes the laces to get frayed from catching on the hooks, and the hooks get caught on other items. My first pair was returned due to one of the hooks breaking off leaving a sharp metal edge. Other then the lace hooks, they fit and perform well out of the box for a reasonable price.

I purchased this sweater to have a dual function layer for skiing and backpacking and have not been dissapointed. I wear it just about every day as a casual sweater, as well as foul weather days skiing under a shell. It works flawlessly using the zip in system with my Marmot Alpine lightweight shell that I purchased 3 years ago, and provides more then enough warmth and breathability. The pit zips are excellent for winter backcountry, and I have been surprised at how well the fleece repells water. This is a great all around choice, and Marmot stands behind their product like few other companies!
