These skis are super light and have a great graphic, but I have not been pleased with their performance. They're difficult to maneuver in powder and they chatter on groomers and hard pack. Alpine or Tele, I have not heard good reviews of these skis. I have two other friends that have tried these for Tele skiing and they had the same complaints. Forget about speed and control on these skis because you can't have either with the Mystic.

The North Face Prophecy is a terrific rain jacket. It packs small and light and performs in light and heavy rain. I take it with me to work, to camp, hike, horseback riding, etc. It has a great fit for a rain jacket with no bulk. The arm pocket is perfect for an mp3 player, credit cards, etc. The sleeves are a little long, so if sleeves in your size usually fit you a little long, you may want to go with the smaller size. I have a few hooded jackets, and this jacket by far has the best hood. It comes over the forehead just enough to give a little extra protection for your head. I highly recommend this for an all-purpose rain jacket.

This is a good, simple hydration pack. It fits comfortably. The front pocket expands to provide extra room and is good storage for energy bars, first aid kits, etc. The top pocket is lined to keep your sunglasses and cameras, etc. from getting scratched, and also provides easy access. The only complaint I have about this pack is that there are few options for outer storage - no daisy chain.

I absolutely LOVE these sandals! I bought them even though they are a men's sandal and they are my favorite. I wore them all summer long last year and they are still in great condition to wear all this summer. I took a trip to Las Vegas and walked up and down the strip for two days. The first day I wore my favorite pair of tennis shoes, the second day I wore these and they beat the comfort of my tennis shoes by far! This is an essential flop to have in your shoe line-up.

The Meridian pants are a great pair of pants to take on spring/summer camping and hiking trips. They provide terrific versatility and comfort. They seem to run a little long, so if you can afford it everywhere else, I would suggest going with the next size down.

The Icebreaker Bodyfit L/S Crew is a great base layer for hiking, skiing, etc. with a figure-flattering fit. The wool is not itchy and it keeps odor and wetness at bay. This is a great layer to wear when going from any outdoor activity to the office or other social outing when there's no time to get cleaned-up.

These socks are perfect for trail running. They provide a little extra support and a lot of extra comfort. I saw a huge difference when I switched my old cotton athletic socks for these.

These sandals are really cute and fairly comfortable, except that the straps are pretty tight on my foot, and I generally have the opposite problem. Heed the name-A5 SKINNY. They seem to be made for really skinny feet. I don't wear them all that often, especially if I'm going far. I'll take my Reefs over these any day.

This helmet has saved my noggin more than once through skiing and extreme sledding. It's warm and light and comfortable. It also provides just the right amount of venting for those warmer spring days. I highly recommend this helmet.

I love the Nuptse jacket! It keeps me warm on some of the coldest days here in Utah. I can wear this jacket when I go out on the town or I can zip it into my shell for added warmth on the slopes. The fit is better than most down jackets and it's not too fat and puffy to hinder movement. Add to the array of fashionable colors available and you have and awesome versatile winter jacket.
